INTRODUCTION TO SILVER METAL CLAY JEWELRY (SOLD OUT- Stay tuned for new opportunities)

Create your own piece of silver jewelry! In this class participants will handle, shape, texture, refine, fire and finish fine silver clay to create a piece of their choice under the guidance of award-winning instructor Kim Rumberger. The goal is to have a piece torch-fired and completed in this one session. No prior experience is needed.

Finished pieces can also have a patina applied to beautifully enhance the details. Because this is the purest form of silver, without any other metals added, the pieces are also tarnish-resistant and hallmarked as .999 Silver.

Silver Clay will be available for purchase from Kim at the time of the class for $3 per gram and is not included in the tuition fee. Students typically use 6 to 10 grams of clay, but this is variable based on the piece the student decides to create.    Register here
